The Workshop is dedicated to advancing an open-minded approach to the behavioral sciences. Julie is the most junior member of this committee and was invited as a result of her great successes in the domains of research and service in this area. In her role. she maintains the website and the online application process for the organization (based on skills that she acquired while serving as supervisor for the New Paltz Evolutionary Psychology Laboratory during her time as a student here).

SUNY New Paltz students worked at the annual 2019 Woodstock Film Festival as producers and interviewers, creating 90 videos in six short days for the organization's youtube page.
