Yorhely Garabito Inducted into Sigma Lambda Upsilon at SUNY New Paltz

Yorhely Garabito is a member of Sigma Lambda Upsilon at SUNY New Paltz.

The Fraternity and Sorority Community at the State University of New York at New Paltz is dedicated to the ideals of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service to the campus and community.

As a member of Sigma Lambda Upsilon, Yorhely gains leadership skills through chapter development, officer roles, governing opportunities and training programs. In addition, Sigma Lambda Upsilon gives back to the local community through community service and philanthropic events year after year. Fraternities and sororities provide members with a family experience while here at college. Sigma Lambda Upsilon members share a strong bond and deep friendship that only a fraternity can provide.

Students may participate in the New Member Education Program of a fraternity or a sorority after successfully completing at least 12 credits at SUNY New Paltz, and having a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
