Thomas Donlan Recognized as SUNY New Paltz Psychology Department Student of Excellence

The SUNY New Paltz Psychology Department recognized Thomas Donlan of Suffern, NY as a Student of Excellence at the annual end-of-year student awards ceremony on Dec. 10, 2015.

Co-sponsored by the Undergraduate Psychology Association, the awards ceremony recognizes graduating students who demonstrated academic excellence while also succeeding in such extra-curricular activities as research, student organizations and internships. Nominees are chosen by Psychology faculty, and the winners are selected by a separate awards committee.

"Such gatherings help students know that the faculty are 'real people' who actually care about them - and I think that this support of the faculty helps give our students the confidence they need to succeed in a variety of endeavors," said Department Chair Glenn Geher.
