Sabrina Gomez inducted into the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Lambda Pi Upsilon

Sabrina Gomez of Bronx, N.Y. is a member of the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Lambda Pi Upsilon.

Lambda Pi Upsilon, also known as Latinas Poderosas Unidas Sorority Inc. or Lambda Divas is a Latina oriented sorority founded at SUNY Geneseo. Sisters live by the motto "Con Amor, Dignidad, y Orgullo."

As a member of Lambda Pi Upsilon, Sabrina gains leadership skills through chapter development, officer roles, governing opportunities and training programs. In addition, Lambda Pi Upsilon gives back to the local community through community service and philanthropic events every year.

The Fraternity and Sorority Community at the State University of New York at New Paltz is dedicated to the ideals of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service to the campus and community.

Students may participate in the New Member Education Program of a fraternity or a sorority after successfully completing at least 12 credits at SUNY New Paltz, and having a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
