SUNY New Paltz student athlete Heather Ehman wins PFX tournament design contest

New Paltz student Heather Ehman of Holbrook, N.Y. was named the winner of the PFX Spring Games design contest, meaning that her design will be featured on all apparel associated with the largest college softball event in the world.

"Winning this competition was not only a great experience for me but it was a way to bring my team together, as I needed every single one of them to support my design and get all their friends and family members to vote for it," said Ehman. "It set a great tone for us heading into our season and for our trip to Florida."

The SUNY New Paltz softball team will be one of hundreds of collegiate teams to participate in the PFX Spring Games, which will be held in March 2018 in Clermont, Fla.

The Hawks start off their PFX Spring Games on March 18 at 2 p.m. against Manchester University and will play 10 games over the course of seven days.
