SUNY New Paltz recognizes Kathy Lopez Romero of Bronx, N.Y. for studying abroad in the fall 2017 semester.

Nearly 25 percent of SUNY New Paltz students experience study abroad during their time at the College. That's among the highest figures in the entire SUNY system.

Students interested in applying for international study for the upcoming winter intercession, spring and calender year must do so by Oct. 1, 2017.
