Resident receives student employee scholarship at SUNY New Paltz

NEW PALTZ - Allison Zaleznick of Wantagh, NY 11793, was recently awarded a $575 Jim Fredericks Student Employee Scholarship from the Campus Auxiliary Services at the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Zaleznick is a Senior majoring in Childhood Education, 1-6 English.

Each applicant had to write a statement about why working in auxiliary services has been a positive experience for them. All full-time, New Paltz students who receive paychecks from Campus Auxiliary Services, Sodexo Dining Services or Follett Higher Education Group were eligible for the annual scholarship.
