SUNY New Paltz student Regina Viola of Mastic Beach, N.Y. is a member of the Cheerleading Team for the 2017-2018 season.

The SUNY New Paltz cheer team is a club sport that strives to promote school spirit. The team performs at home basketball games and competes in regional and national competitons. The cheerleading team also participates in community service opportunities to help give back to the community.
