Morgan Roessler Named SUNYAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Morgan Roessler of Massapequa, NY has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Volleyball Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 6, 2016.

Roessler led the team in kills in three of four matches in the Elmhurst Invitational in Illinois. In the team's lone victory over North Park (3-2), she filled in the stat sheet with 16 kills, 13 digs and six aces.

In the season opener against Aurora, Roessler tallied 10 kills with six digs and three blocks while versus Greenville, the senior registered a double-double with 18 kills, 10 digs and chipped in four blocks. Roessler averaged 3.31 kills per set, 2.00 digs per set and .056 blocks per set in the Hawks' Midwest trip.
