Mitchell Kennedy is the New Paltz Hawks Athlete of the Week

SUNY New Paltz men's volleyball player Mitchell Kennedy of Penfield, NY has been named the Week 13 Athlete of the Week.

Kennedy played his first match in a year after missing all but one game last season due to injury and made an immediate impact for the men's volleyball team in their season opener. Kennedy lead the team in assists with 23 and along with Matthew Grace distributed the ball throughout the offense to post a strong and balanced attack against Lancaster Bible. He also led the team in digs with seven and aces with two in the Hawks sweep of the Chargers 25-15, 25-22, 27-25.
