Meredith Eldridge takes part in 2015 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience Program

The State University of New York at New Paltz Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program is an eight week, full time research opportunity that encourages faculty-student collaboration.

During the summer of 2015, Meredith Eldridge of Old Tappan, NJ completed a research project entitled "Comparative Kinematics of Gait, Breathing and Feeding in Ambystomoid Salamanders."

SURE program participants conduct faculty-mentored research or creative activities in order to expand their knowledge and gain valuable scholastic experience.

Upon completion of their various projects, students present their research to an audience of faculty, staff and students during a major fall semester event. This helps students develop additional skills communicating their research and responding to questions.
