Menorka Rodriguez Inducted into Omega Phi Beta at SUNY New Paltz

Menorka Rodriguez is a member of the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Omega Phi Beta.

The Fraternity and Sorority Community at the State University of New York at New Paltz is dedicated to the ideals of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service to the campus and community.

As a member of Omega Phi Beta, Menorka gains leadership skills through chapter development, officer roles, governing opportunities and training programs. In addition, Omega Phi Beta gives back to the local community through community service and philanthropic events year after year. Fraternities and sororities provide members with a family experience while here at college. Omega Phi Beta members share a strong bond and deep friendship that only a sorority can provide.

Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated (OPBSI) is the nation's premiere Greek-lettered organization working towards the elimination of violence against women and empowerment of women. As a national sorority, OPBSI is committed to the development of collegiate and professional women through sisterhood, diversity, leadership, service and academic excellence.

Students may participate in the New Member Education Program of a fraternity or a sorority after successfully completing at least 12 credits at SUNY New Paltz, and having a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
