Melyssa Arguello is an honored member of Beta Omicron

Chi Alpha Epsilon member Melyssa Arguello of Far Rockaway, NY recieved a member upgrade at the 2017 Inductory ceremony.

Chi Alpha Epsilon was formed in correlation with the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), to recognize the academic achievements of students admitted to colleges and universities through non-traditional criteria. Chi Alpha Epsilon promotes continued high academic standards, to foster increased communication among its members, and to honor academic excellence achieved by students.

To become a member, students must be:

• A full-time student
• Have a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A or higher, for two consecutive semesters
• Must be admitted to the college/university via EOP
