Melissa Wagner named SUNYAC Lacrosse Player of the Week

Melissa Wagner of Putnam Valley, N.Y. was named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Week!

Wagner, a co-captain for SUNY New Paltz women's lacrosse team, led the Hawks to a 2-1 week with wins over Elmira and USMMA. Wagner tallied eight goals (three free-position) and five assists for 13 total points and compiled 12 shots, all on goal.

Wagner and the women's lacrosse team have three home games this week: Cazenovia on Tuesday, March 28 at 4 p.m., Farmingdale on Thursday, March 30 at 3 p.m. and the SUNYAC opener with No. 9 SUNY Cortland on Saturday, April 1 at 1 p.m.
