Megan Gangewere earns second-straight SUNYAC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week honor.

For the second consecutive week, State University of New York at New Paltz field hockey junior goalkeeper Megan Gangewere of Nazareth, Pa. has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced on Sept. 13.

Gangewere made a career-high 23 stops in the cage at Montclair State (L, 5-1) on Wednesday, Sept. 7, which ranks sixth-most all-time in single game program history.
