Matthew De Bara wins First Place Documentary Award at SUNYwide Film Festival

Matthew De Bara of Hopewell Junction, N.Y. was on the SUNY New Paltz filmmaking team that won the Best Documentary award at the SUNYwide Film Festival for "Fierce Five Percent: Women in the Sound Industry."

The SUNYwide Film Festival was held from Nov. 9-11 at SUNY Buffalo State. The Festival is an opportunity for students to showcase their cinematic works, as well as provide a platform to highlight the work that best exemplifies the dedication and skill found across the SUNY system.
