Martina Nadeau presents Honors Senior Thesis

SUNY New Paltz graduating senior Martina Nadeau of Rocky Point, N.Y. presented an Honors Program senior thesis at the end of the fall 2016 semester.

The Honors Program challenges exceptional students to undertake independent research projects, with close faculty mentorship, and present that work in a formal setting before an audience of peers.

Nadeau, who's major area of study is Political Science, gave a presentation titled “Inefficacious: Service Provision Surrounding Liberal Abortion Laws in Zambia ” .

The mission of the SUNY New Paltz Honors Program is to provide an enhanced intellectual experience in a climate conducive to interaction among highly motivated students and faculty. This experience will seek to develop and intensify skills from a conceptual point of view in a diverse multidisciplinary analytical environment that nurtures independent thinking, creativity, respect and social responsibility.
