Madeline Zwickl Named to the 2015 Volleyball All-SUNYAC teams

Madeline Zwickl of Chester, NY was one of four SUNY New Paltz student-athletes named to the 2015 Volleyball All-SUNYAC teams.

Senior outside hitter Becca Borquist (Rhinebeck, N.Y./Rhinebeck) and junior middle hitter Morgan Roessler (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) were named to the All-SUNYAC First Team, while sophomore setter Maddie Zwickl (Chester, N.Y./Warwick Valley) and junior libero Meg Kinee (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) made the All-SUNYAC Second Team and the All-SUNYAC Third Team, respectively.

Zwickl earns her second All-SUNYAC nod in as many years, as she was selected to the All-SUNYAC Third Team in 2014. A driving force in the Hawks' offensive production, she finished the season ranked third in the SUNYAC in assists per set (9.73) while also hitting .231 (75-26-212) on the year. In addition, she tied for 10th in the SUNYAC in service aces per set (0.40). Zwickl's career is shaping up as one of the best in the history of the program for a setter, as she has doled out 2,358 assists during her two years with the program, which ranks fifth in program history. A 2014 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, she is the daughter of Philip and Michele Zwickl.
