Kathleen Herman is serving as Secretary on the Residence Hall Student Association (RHSA) Executive Board at SUNY New Paltz.

RHSA is a student-run organization that exists to foster community among resident students and promote a healthy and enjoyable on-campus residence experience.

The Executive Board members meet monthly with the college President and his cabinet. They act as liaisons between the student body and the administration, addressing concerns facing resident students and sharing suggestions and feedback. The RHSA also dedicates time, effort and funds on social and educational programs throughout the community.
