Jordan Hunt Inducted into Kappa Alpha Psi at SUNY New Paltz

2017 Mar 30

Jordan Hunt is a member of the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi.

The Fraternity and Sorority Community at the State University of New York at New Paltz is dedicated to the ideals of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service to the campus and community.

As a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Jordan gains leadership skills through chapter development, officer roles, governing opportunities and training programs. In addition, Kappa Alpha Psi gives back to the local community through community service and philanthropic events year after year. Fraternities and sororities provide members with a family experience while here at college. Kappa Alpha Psi members share a strong bond and deep friendship that only a sorority can provide.

Kappa Alpha Psi, a college Fraternity, now comprised of functioning Undergraduate and Alumni Chapters on major campuses and in cities throughout the country, is the crystallization of a dream. It was the vision of their founders that enabled them in the school year 1910 - 11, more specifically the night of January 5, 1911, on the campus of Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana, to sow the seed of a fraternal tree whose fruit is available to, and now enjoyed by, college men everywhere, regardless of their color, religion or national origin.

Students may participate in the New Member Education Program of a fraternity or a sorority after successfully completing at least 12 credits at SUNY New Paltz, and having a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
