Jason Vasquez attended the Woodstock Film Festival as a producer and interviewer

Jason Vasquez of Bay Shore, N.Y. represented SUNY New Paltz at the Woodstock Film Festival. Vasquez was one of 24 student producers who created more than 60 promotional and news videos, and interviewed film industry professionals.

Students worked with Assistant Professor of Digital Media & Journalism, Gregory Bray in preparing for the Festival. They were tasked with shooting, editing and publishing event coverage and promotional videos.

"The Woodstock Film Festival is a terrific opportunity for students to meet filmmakers and other industry professionals, hear their stories, learn a bit more about the industry, and also to create deadline-strict, professional quality productions for their reels and resume," said Bray.

The Woodstock Film Festival is a premiere film festival that hosts the most talented emerging and established professionals in the movie industry.
