Jake Totilo Inducted into Kappa Delta Phi at SUNY New Paltz

2017 Mar 10

Jake Totilo is a member of the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Kappa Delta Phi.

The Fraternity and Sorority Community at the State University of New York at New Paltz is dedicated to the ideals of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service to the campus and community.

As a member of Kappa Delta Phi, Jake gains leadership skills through chapter development, officer roles, governing opportunities and training programs. In addition, Kappa Delta Phi gives back to the local community through community service and philanthropic events year after year. Fraternities and sororities provide members with a family experience while here at college. Kappa Delta Phi members share a strong bond and deep friendship that only a fraternity can provide.

Kappa Delta Phi is a college general men's fraternity that was founded on April 14, 1900 at the Bridgewater Normal School. The fraternity and its members promote the highest ideals and educational practices; promote a spirit of good citizenship; support the fight against discrimination on the basis of race, color, or creed; and aim to strengthen and preserve the bonds of brotherhood which link men together working toward a common cause.

Students may participate in the New Member Education Program of a fraternity or a sorority after successfully completing at least 12 credits at SUNY New Paltz, and having a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
