Isabelle Hayes will be a panelist for "Climate Change, Hope and the Hudson Valley"

SUNY New Paltz student Isabelle Hayes of Pine Island, N.Y. will participate in the Environmental Task Force event, "Climate Change, Hope and the Hudson Valley."

The event will be led by Tim Guinee, Ulster County resident and leader in former Vice-President Al Gore's Climate Reality Project, who will present a free slideshow and discussion of the latest science regarding climate change, the many reasons we have to be hopeful in confronting this crisis.

Following the presentation will be a panel disucssion of actions students can take to address this challenge.

The Earth Week event will take place on Thursday, April 19 at 6 p.m. in Lecture Center 100 at SUNY New Paltz.
