Erica Ruggiero performed in the "Every 28 Hours Plays" in McKenna Theatre

Erica Ruggiero of Staten Island, N.Y. is a member of the cast of the SUNY New Paltz spring 2018 production of the "Every 28 Hours Plays" project.

Performances took place on Saturday, Feb. 10, and Sunday, Feb. 11, in McKenna Theatre as part of the Department of Theatre Arts' Praxis Series.

The project includes a collection of 72 one-minute plays inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement in proactive efforts to bring issues of racism, oppression and inequality to the forefront of our thoughts.

It was directed by Lauren Bone Noble, Tim Rhoze and Aurelia Clunie.
