Emma Savic recieved the Food Marketing Award in the School of Business

Emma Savic of Jackson Heights, N.Y. has received the Food Marketing Award in the School of Business at SUNY New Paltz.

The award is a ceritificate honoring the completion of the Food Marketing courses. One of a kind in the SUNY system, these courses help students develop specialized skills in food merchandising, retail, sales and category management and led to job placement in the vibrant and constantly evolving food industry.

Dean Kristin Backhaus and Dr. Russell J. Zwanka have developed strong industry ties that assist in the placement of graduating seniors, advising of students, providing internships, content expertise and scholarships.
