Dylan Balducci is the New Paltz Hawks Athlete of the Week

SUNY New Paltz men's basketball player Dylan Balducci of Massapequa Park, N.Y. has been named the Week 16 Athlete of the Week.

Balducci led the SUNY New Paltz basketball team in scoring this past weekend, totaling 18 points in both of its contests against Buffalo State and Fredonia State. Balducci made 4-for-9 from the floor against the Bengals, including 2-for-4 from 3-point range. He did well getting to the hoop, earning 12 trips to the foul line and making 67 percent from the charity stripe, while also adding three rebounds, four assists and three steals in 32 minutes of action. In a 70-66 win over the Blue Devils, Balducci hit three of his five baskets from the perimeter and made a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line, while also adding three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 36 minutes.
