Colleen Roemer named to All-SUNYAC Field Hockey Team

SUNY New Paltz student athlete Colleen Roemer of Pound Ridge, N.Y. was named to the 2016 All-SUNYAC Field Hockey Team.

The Hawks concluded the 2016 season with a 9-9 overall record under eighth-year head coach Shanna Vitale, going 4-2 in the SUNYAC during the regular season. Earning the No. 2 seed in the playoffs, New Paltz fell to Geneseo 1-0 in the semifinals, snapping a streak of five straight conference championship appearances as the Hawks hoisted the league trophy the past four seasons
