Christian Zoeger Boggiano is part of the first SUNY New Paltz Mechanical Engineering graduating class

SUNY New Paltz graduating senior Christian Zoeger Boggiano of Gardiner, N.Y. will become one of the first SUNY New Paltz students to complete the College's Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's Degree program. They will graduate in May 2017.

New Paltz's undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program launched in 2014. The six students who will complete the program this May were among the first to declare the new degree.

The program is defined by small class sizes and close student-faculty collaboration. Courses focus on preparing students to meet the modern demands of employers. As of the Spring 2017 semester, 109 New Paltz students have enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering program.
