Chad Plante is the New Paltz Hawks Athlete of the Week

SUNY New Paltz swimmer Chad Plante of Naples, N.Y. has been named the Week 19 Athlete of the Week.
On Day 3 of the SUNYAC championship meet Sunday, Plante took home his first conference title of his collegiate career after a come-from-behind win in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 2 minutes, 8.17 seconds. He also placed second in the 100 breaststroke (58.93), and was a part of the Hawks' second-place 200-medley relay team that finished second with a time of 1:33.21.
