Celina Ackerman will present Honors thesis

SUNY New Paltz Honors student and graduating senior Celina Ackerman of Watervliet, N.Y. will present "English Literacy in Deaf Education," as part of the Honors Program thesis presentations taking place on Dec. 1 and Dec. 6 at the Honors Center.

Seniors in the Honors Program are required to complete a senior thesis, which is to be presented towards the end of the semester. The Honors Program strives to provide an enhanced intellectual experience in a climate conducive to interaction among highly motivated students and faculty.

The Honors Program presentations will take place on Friday Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. and Wednesday Dec.6 at 11 a.m. They will be held in the Honors Center and are open to the public.
