Celeste Lopez Inducted into Chi Upsilon Sigma at SUNY New Paltz

Celeste Lopez is a member of the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Chi Upsilon Sigma.

The Fraternity and Sorority Community at the State University of New York at New Paltz is dedicated to the ideals of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service to the campus and community.

As a member of Chi Upsilon Sigma, Celeste gains leadership skills through chapter development, officer roles, governing opportunities and training programs. In addition, Chi Upsilon Sigma gives back to the local community through community service and philanthropic events year after year. Fraternities and sororities provide members with a family experience while here at college. Chi Upsilon Sigma members share a strong bond and deep friendship that only a fraternity or sorority can provide.

Chi Upsilon Sigma is a Latina oriented Greek letter intercollegiate sorority founded in 1980 at Rutgers University. Its official name is Corazones Unidos Siempre (Hearts United Always).

Students may participate in the New Member Education Program of a fraternity or a sorority after successfully completing at least 12 credits at SUNY New Paltz, and having a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
