Brianna Knight will participate in the College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational at Temple University.

SUNY New Paltz Slam Team member Brianna Knight from Spring Valley, N.Y. earned a competitive spot in the College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational at Temple University.

The 18th annual National Poetry Slam Competition includes teams of four or five college students from across the country who travel to compete for top honor at this event.

It is an opportunity for student poets to showcase their art and to develop their writing and presentation skills to take advantage of future opportunities in poetry.

The event took place April 4 - 7, 2018.
