Allison Capellini inducted into the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Sigma Delta Tau

Allison Capellini of Lindenhurst, N.Y. is a member of the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Sigma Delta Tau.

Sigma Delta Tau was founded in 1917 at Cornell University. It currently counts 100 chapters and more than 60,000 members among its ranks. All Sigma Delta Tau chapters conduct annual service projects, educational programs or major fund raisers for the benefit of Prevent Child Abuse America.

As a member of Sigma Delta Tau, Allison gains leadership skills through chapter development, officer roles, governing opportunities and training programs. In addition, Sigma Delta Tau gives back to the local community through community service and philanthropic events every year.

The Fraternity and Sorority Community at the State University of New York at New Paltz is dedicated to the ideals of friendship, scholarship, leadership, and service to the campus and community.

Students may participate in the New Member Education Program of a fraternity or a sorority after successfully completing at least 12 credits at SUNY New Paltz, and having a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher.
