Melissa Wagner of Putnam Valley, N.Y. is on the 2017 lacrosse team at SUNY New Paltz.
This year the Hawks welcome first-year interim coach Keith Deteli, hoping to advance within the SUNYAC and make a push to the postseason.
"Our goals are always to get better within the SUNYAC, earn a playoff berth and knock off some teams," Deteli said. "With all of our senior leaders, they are breaking in the freshmen and getting them up to speed and they will all put up big numbers for us this season."
