Kiersten Carlomagno of East Patchogue, N.Y. is on the 2017 softball team at SUNY New Paltz.
After making it to the State University of New York Athletic Conference Tournament last year, the Hawks are looking to advance farther than ever before in 2017.
First-year head coach Samantha Miller is ethusiastic. "My expectations for the individual players is to leave everything on the field," Miller said. "Don't live with any regrets after you leave here and make sure you teach the team what it means to be a successful softball player."
